Thank you so much everyone for your feedback and encouragement. This dress is for a play I’m in so unfortunately the Director and Costumer get to make the final decision. I don’t know what their idea of attractive/sexy is but I am relieved to know that I’m not completely crazy for feeling like this is a good look.

Reminds me of the time I wanted a blue post raphaelite picture filled with naked angels and sky in a gold frame. the framer said 'oh, blue doesn't go with gold.' *blink! Okay. someone tell that to the entire renaissance....
