I am on day 4 of my weight loss journey! 360 to 240
Came up with a plan and though I definitely wasn’t perfect, I definitely think I can build on it. Took things very light at the gym, and jumped into my diet with “scheduled room for error. “
Here’s my notes. Think I’m going to grade myself each week.
feel free to offer tips!

-Failed to cut out beer(I love it so much) lol
+Didn’t Eat any greasy healthy food. Mostly fish veggies fruit and less carbs than before. Slowly cutting those out as I go.

+Went to the gym all of the days I scheduled
-had to restructure my weight lifting plan due to just being way to sore to preform them safely. That will improve in the coming weeks

I love your positivity, and that you are actively doing things to better your health and life. 👍 That's great. It's all of the little things that end up making a huge difference. Can't wait to see how your first week goes.

Mind control is also essential as much as diet and exercise for weight loss. I was always overweight and obese in my adult life, and my body homeostasis considered my heavyweight as a norm. That was why I failed whenever I tried to lose weight. People say it is the Yoyo effect. So, I had to correct my body's view of my healthy weight. I started to talk to my body like this "I used to be healthy and have an average weight. This heavyweight is not a real one and is not even good. I am the one who is in charge of my life, not you. Now, it is time to return to my healthy body weight and never fight back to me anymore." I have been doing this technique with a well-balanced diet, walking, IF, and CICO since April this year. I have lost 35 lbs. (16 kg) in about nine months.

In part just like Anne Estephanie commented, it has a lot to do with our mindset. It is important to keep telling ourselves why we are doing this, why we need to do this and be excited for the results to come if we stick to it. I always tell myself “if I hang in there just another 5 days, I will see a difference, even if just less 200 grams. Minus 200gr is better than plus 400gr” 🤔 In terms of archiving results, IF is good but if you are a woman don’t go over 15-16h mark because it can make huge damages to your hormones. I used to IF for 18-20hs and my hormones got real out of control. Took time to return to normal. High protein diet is a good help too, but keep in mind, it is important to be consistent in the calories deficit.

Rome was not build in a day. It takes a long time to get results. Patience is important and you have a good plan. You are absolutely right you don’t have to cut out everything you enjoy like your beer. I still drink my vodka water cocktail at night and I have an 80/20 percent approach to my eating. 80 percent of the week I follow my clean eating. Lean protein veggies, salad. No sugar, no starch and on weekends usually on Saturdays I eat whatever I want. I workout a lot. Boxing, heavy weights and cardio. Check out my profile. Good luck you are doing great.

find a 12 hour period with no food consumption. called the 12 on 12 off cycle.

Eat to live not live to eat. Well maybe one cheat day a week and 12 hour fast everyday that ends in Y.
