Hello everyone! I haven't been on since April, I experienced a stroke. I had several TIAs in March, told it was Vertigo, then the stroke a month later. I have some weakness on left side, balance is challenging at times and I have some cognitive deficit, But, I am alive! I have gained some weight back so time to buckle down and get back on the weight loss wagon! So---here goes!

@crystal, as I was told by my neurologist, no stroke is a mild stroke! Yes, I am so blessed that I can walk and only have weakness on my left side, cognitive and memory issues and balance issues are no joke! I can't imagine if I was dealing with more deficits as so many are. We, everyone is a Warrior! We are all dealing with something, so be well and be safe! Thank you for the support.

I'm sorry to hear about your stroke. Paramedics all mentioned stroke because they saw what was happening to me. The hospital stated vertigo too. I have a nasty name for this situation. Sorry to hear of your health issues. Get better soon.

Oh Patti, I'm sorry...many years ago my Mom had a stroke and they told me it was a 'mild' one...but you're right...my Mom didn't think it was 'mild' at all.😔 What I meant is that I'm glad it wasn't worse and that you're getting stronger. Please forgive me🙏💙
