Good evening to my FS team mates.
Today was the day. 52 weeks of diet change, woke to a nice little 2 pound drop.
Total body weight loss 117 lbs (or 32% of my body mass).
Went to annual dr apt today. It's official.
Dr was extremely happy with weight loss , wants me to continue what I'm doing however: does not want me to lose any more than 5 more pounds. Now I Go into maintain mode/ toning a little. Those new 38 jeans I bought are going to fit and not be snug. (Started this journey wearing 50's). Not to bad for 59 years old.
Dr changing blood pressure meds (cut them in half). 90 days return for follow up on readings ( mid Jan)
Had my omelet for dinner (it's been a year since I have had any eggs) , At some hole in the wall joint, kinda bland. Added some salsa to it and it was good. .
I have changed my new goal to 240 lbs, I suspect I will drop below it as It’s been so long eating clean, and I’m afraid to regain that weight, I will have Occasional slice of pizza and not the whole pie, an occasional ice cream small not super deluxe, a hot dog on the 4th of July, and yes the eggs, damn I missed them. Potatoes, noodles, rice and bread will remain a thing of the past for now.
I did this to me, and I paid the fiddler getting rid of it !!! I do not want a repeat. I have not been at this weight in over 20 years.
