Oh fer YUM, Becca!!! I grew up on bacon, eggs and toast or bagels, cream cheese, lox and eggs, or in case of extreme stress or heartbreak 💔, kosher salami and eggs. Moving to Minnesota opened me up to the wide wide world of hashbrowns and cheesy hashbrowns. Now, in my 50s, it is all about the rice and frijoles!!! 😋😋😋😋😋😋 But girlfriend, when you see me eating salami and eggs, you know something is up. 

It is chilly and rainy here too. We have the heaters on and the dog is under the bed and the cats are on the radiators, lol.

Jen, my frirnd, I always love to read your comments. 💕 That childhood food is always a comfort, not matter how simple. The rain comes in handy when you are sick and can't really work on major projects outdoors. I love being comfy and cozy indoors. 😊

I hope you’re back to 100% soon! Breakfast looks great. Would be good with a splash of red chile too! 

Buenita, it wasn't too bad and it was only for a day. I gargled with warm water and sea, which helped. 😊 

Doogle, thank you! Slowly getting back to normal. My husband is the chile eater. I'll eat it once in a while, but I have to have some sour cream nearby just in case. I know, I'm a whimp. 😁 Doogle, I read about how they had to shut down a few days of the Balloon Fiesta up your way. Have been able to see any of the balloons?  

Thank you NAVYWIFE. 💕 These days I am fine taking my time recovering from being sick. I used to stress out and push myself, but there's no need to do that now. 😊 

Breakfast looks delicious! Glad you're feeling better. Temperatures here down into the 60s at night with low humidity, very pleasant. Winters are easy in the deep south.
