I am sorry you are feeling like that. If any consolation you're not alone I could have written this post word by word myself. 

Book yourself a spa day, or a day doing something you love - an art gallery, a course or to visit a friend you haven't seen in ages etc - just for you. They'll certainly realise how much they miss you and everyone deserves a treat!  

I will notice ❤️, do not do this with yourself, please. Our value doesn't come from the outside, it comes from the inside. People even forget themselves and don't notice if they still exist or not so don't bother yourself. 

I think sometimes we feel unnoticed but I believe it’s more how we feel than how it actually is. X 

I am with Bryonyrm. Go out with a friend or two if you can. 

Thanks everyone, think it was I'd felt so tired everyone was doing their own thing, when suddenly its what's for tea?? Then my daughter needed something n I suddenly had a silly moment when I thought what would they do if I wasn't here?? I'm fine now, I love been a wife n mum but sometimes it would be nice if they could think for themselves 😜 

It’s too easy to take the things we love for granted but I’m sure things would fall apart without you. You are an amazing woman, here’s a reminder 💕 

Know the feeling well. I'm fed up with all the similar questions, more so when some don't need to be asked, just common sense!! I spend time late at night just on my own, once son and hubby have gone to bed. I tend to think I should maybe get more sleep but it's only time I'm questions free xx 

Heather I know exactly how it feels … but ur the glue that keeps the home together as vicki said sometimes people take others for Granted ❤️❤️ 

get yourself away somewhere for a few days, I've just left my partner at home for 5 days for the first time since we met 8 yrs ago and he's come to the conclusion he actually can't function properly without me, n we don't even have any children together! they'll soon notice u if u go away for a few days xx 

Schedule Me-Time for yourself! Once a week, more is better, whatever will work for you. Then put up the "Off Duty" sign. Don't answer their calls, relax and recharge. Been where you are and I wish I had learned this wonderful self-care earlier. Hope this helps. :-) Remember you are worth it! Tip: They appreciate you more when you take care of yourself!!! 

Bless you, need to talk about how you feel , I left it 30 years and although my husband now gets it, I am still struggling with the fear of failure if I don't do it all. Time for some self care x

It's hard to stomach when you feel like you're taken for granted but tomorrow's another day and you may feel differently. One thing's for sure, you are here on FS because you want to do something, lose weight for yourself and no one else.
