Went back to a gluteen-free diet today. My endo has been killing me lately and I have to get it back under control.
I will need to do some shopping to get the foods I need but I am very happy my protien bars are gluteen-free.
I have once again switched up my workout but this time I am sticking to it for the next six weeks.
Mon, Wed, and Fri I am doing two yoga workouts ( 50 min ), Jillian Michaels 6 weeks to 6 pack abs, and 30 minutes Walk away the pounds and on Tues, Thurs, and Sat I am doing all the above but only one 20 min yoga. Sundays I will just do a little cardio.
The goal is to firm up and lose a little fat around the belly.
I took a picture of the before and will take another after six weeks and see if I can see a differnce.

o great plan! it sounds like you are really going to kick it up a notch! And that is fantastic. I know someone who is allergic to gluten, and it is soo hard for her to find food sometimes. This will work for you, and don't forget you will be building muscle here, and that will balance out the weight loss (I am currently struggling with that. I will be here to give you all the support you want or need.

what's up the gluten and endo? I don't see the correlation and I may need to... can you share more details with the class?

Thanks Jennifer2010. Radiochick, endometiosis is endometrial building up in and on your uterus and can also grow around and to other parts of your body. This would be most peoples normal period flushing out only when you have endo it grows other places. Foods that have a lot of estrogen like gluteen foods, coffee, chocolate, and other foods can make it worse. You get severe cramping and not just around that time of month. The more gluteen I eat the worse it gets. It can also effect fertility in some cases ( not mine ).Coffee does not seem to affect me like gluteen does.If I don't eat gluteen for several weeks the cramping gets better and I can eat very small amounts until it builds up again and I have to take it off the menu.

Possibly a dumb question, but is the gluten why you have been seeing a gain? Because your body cannot get rid of it properly? Is there a correlation between you eating it, and it affecting the way your body absorbs other kinds of foods, and its struggling with the gluten so its not burning as efficiently? Just wondering. You do exercise everyday, and your food journal is 95% of the time really good. Our bodies are weird I do not have diabetes, but I cannot process carbs as effectively my body tends to store them.

I am not really sure how that works but I do know that my brother-in-law has celiacs and until he stopped eating gluteen he could not lose and after he lost a ton. Same with the rest of his family. I do believe that some things are hard for our bodies to digest and break down. I also know several people who don't have celiac but cut out gluteen ( not just carb dieting ) and finally started to lose as well. I am hoping that this gaining I am doing is muscle unstead of fat and I may stay away from the scale for a month to see what kind of changes I see in my body apart from the scale.

That is a good idea. I am trying to use the scale as a guide line, but the numbers are just so hard to get through my brain. I am looking forward to seeing the before and after pictures that you were talking about.
