I am sure you can commiserate, but weekends are hard for me. I have been doing okay, but not as well as during the week. We hosted game night last night and I paced myself during the day to allow myself to enjoy a few beers and some snacks while we played games for several hours. I didn't do too badly, going over my RDI, but not by too much. Luckily, I had put in time at the gym in the afternoon.
Tonight, I plan to cook up some short ribs and veggies, one of my husband's favorites. It is the kind of meal that I could just eat until I burst. I will concentrate on portion control and I should be just fine.
Girl Scout cookie season is now underway! :P I encountered them at the grocery store as well as getting emails from two friends whose daughters are selling them. I was trying to figure out which kinds I could buy for the family to support the girls that I could resist, but mostly just thought of those varieties that I love and could eat the whole box before anyone even knew I had bought them! Maybe I am not ready to support my local Girl Scouts! :)
