Dodge 2015 SuperBowl Ad (and what we can learn about healthy eating) - Good Friday Morning, FS Buddies and Friends...Many of you have seen the Advertisement that Dodge produced for the 2015 Superbowl. It was made to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Dodge and the cars they produce. This Ad is so unique it was featured on the Evening News of Major TV networks. It has ALREADY received MORE than 7 MILLION watches on YOU TUBE>
It features persons who are ALL at least 100 years old as the narrators. Here are their statements:(and of course property of the Dodge Corporation)
“I’m a 100 years old. And I want to tell the world what I have learned.”
“Live for now.”
“…because..Life is …good. …You make it good!”
“You’ll learn not to cheat.”
“There are miracles all around you.”
“Stay young!”
“Always tell the truth”
“Keep your eyes open…….and sometimes…your mouth shut.”
“Don’t complain.”
“Tell it like it is.”
“Don’t bitch.”
“Hesitate and you lose!”
“Put the pedal to the metal.”
“Live fast.”
“….And never, ever forget where you came from.”
MOST of these can be seen in light of our weight loss journey....
Just let me mention one...As we enter this weekend, let us ponder that
MANY find weekends to be more difficult to STAY ON our eating plan...
that is in part because we are MORE tempted to cheat...
Let us stay focused...Let us be mindful...and let us realize...
as we learn NOT to cheat, we become honest with ourselves...
And that is ONE foundation for our journey to WHOLENESS and BETTER Health.
I wish for all of us a weekend of mindful, healthy eating and no cheating.
