I am waking up every hour during the night. I limit my coffee and try to have a small snack right before bed. When I keep waking up eventually I get up and get something to eat and this is killing my goals. I am afraid if I keep this up I will gain the weight back. I had this problem years ago when I was in my 20's but it hasn't been an issue in 30 years. Up until two months ago I was sleeping like a baby. The only thing I have been doing different is I started taking probiotics.

I took Melatonin years ago maybe I'll try again. I bought ZZquil and that didn't work at all.

I am always a fan of putting my sleepless nights to use... i.e. come up with a list of things you should be doing but don't want to, (you know, like organizing the linen closet, or darning socks :) then next time you wake up instead of staring at the clock go do one of those tasks! Then you get something accomplished when you're waking up, and maybe knocking something off the to-do list makes you feel better so you fall back to sleep !
