Hahaha your editor fixed it, thanks! What’s the name of the yellow flower? You knew I’d ask that. 

It's a mix of Bush Sunflower, Desert Dandelion and Wild Mustard (which on this path grows about 7 feet tall, so it feels like you're hiking through a flower jungle).

Thanks, All. This is actually on a cliff. It is almost a straight drop down to get to the beach, which you can't see in this pic. There's steep trails that lead down to the sand, adding to the fun of the workout 😎🏝️

When the trail is quiet like this, all the animals scurry around: garter snakes, grey and brown bunnies, lizards, squirrels, even mice/rats. For photo beauty purposes, the wildlife were excluded this time 🦎💚🐍

@McGrath: I think it's because the town doesn't put hotels right up on the beach; It's a neighborhood and all locals. Sunset gatherings involve walking down with wineglasses and no tourists (I've only seen 1 police car, but they were just there to enjoy the sunset themselves, and totally ignored me walking right past them with my glass.) Very chill SoCal life.
