Hope everyone is getting ready to enjoy their weekend. Just a little something I would like to share. Not trying to be dramatic with this story, simply sharing. This morning is a low energy hurting kind of morning. I was going to but some gourmet almond butter on my toast, but didn't have the strength to open the new jar and I didn't want to ask Joe, he already does so much for me. Anyway, I was feeling pretty crappy and then I get a text with video from our grandnieces. I love these little girls, 8 & 5. The video is of the younger one singing and dancing and the older one letting me know they are about to make eggs. Them wearing their Minnie Mouse aprons was a clue they were about to make breakfast. A few minutes later, I receive photos of the eggs being mixed, cooked, served and eaten. These sweethearts made my morning and helped me focus on my blessings and the love they give me, instead of my not-so-good morning. That's it. Just wanted to share how something that might seem so simple, like making eggs, can make a person's day flip from a bad one to an appreciative one. 🍳 👩🍳 💕

I know the angst of too tight lids...on salad dressing, catsup, water bottles and the like and I do whine out loud and ask God to help me....as it's just me and Him at my spot. I get the low energy/pain thing as well. So glad for the spark of joy the girls brought you and thanks for sharing it here! Blessings to you...

More and more as I’m now in my 60s learning to really savor moments - not looking behind and not getting too caught up in the future. Grandkids really assist with that!

Kat, I do feel so blessed and loved by all here, so much so that these comments bring tears of appreciation. And yes, my family and friends are so good to me. Being realistic, nobody's life is perfect, but I truly appreciate how good I have it. Thank you for your kind comment. 💕

Thank you everyone. 💕 I am feeling better. I took it easy yesterday. My big accomplishment was to plan out a menu for an upcoming dinner with friends. I was still hurting this morning, but not so bad that I would cancel lunch with a friend in town. I knew that once I was with her, I would feel better and I did. I had a blood orange hard cider, which I didn't finish, half of a cheese burger and half order of sweet potato fries. After lunch, we walked up and down the main street and visited some of the unique shops there in downtown Silver City. My legs ache a bit, but it was a wonderful day. Oh and get this, while I was gone, Joe cleaned the house! ❤️ Fire update. It's come into fresh fuel, because on the way home, I could see it billowing above the mountain range. It's still not a threat to homes, so that's good news.

It sure is Bear. I did have a lovely day today. I refuse to let these physical annoyances determine my day for me or my attitude. I simply have to work around them and get on with my plans. Thank you, you're a sweetheart. 🥰
