Hope everyone is getting ready to enjoy their weekend. Just a little something I would like to share. Not trying to be dramatic with this story, simply sharing. This morning is a low energy hurting kind of morning. I was going to but some gourmet almond butter on my toast, but didn't have the strength to open the new jar and I didn't want to ask Joe, he already does so much for me. Anyway, I was feeling pretty crappy and then I get a text with video from our grandnieces. I love these little girls, 8 & 5. The video is of the younger one singing and dancing and the older one letting me know they are about to make eggs. Them wearing their Minnie Mouse aprons was a clue they were about to make breakfast. A few minutes later, I receive photos of the eggs being mixed, cooked, served and eaten. These sweethearts made my morning and helped me focus on my blessings and the love they give me, instead of my not-so-good morning. That's it. Just wanted to share how something that might seem so simple, like making eggs, can make a person's day flip from a bad one to an appreciative one. 🍳 👩🍳 💕

Thank you CrystalJo. 💕 I had a long day yesterday and so today I'm feeling it today. I love this entire family. Their older brother also sends me text messages and photos. He's non-verbal, for the most part, so his texts are also special. I'm very close to their mother, who is married to Joe's nephew. Long story involving family drama, but end result is a solid loving relationship with this amazing little family. 💖

They are liv001. And they each have their own unsquashed unique personality. Our oldest daughter recently took the entire family to Disneyland, actually 3 of our 4 kids went and they all had a blast, with blistered feet and all. It was the oldest niece that told me about the trip, via text, weeks before they went. When we visited them, while in California recently, they shared all about their Disneyland adventure and the toys they bought. Having kids in your life, keeps you young. 💖

Thank you DP. 💕 I was just telling Joe, that getting down about it doesn't help in finding solutions. Sometimes I just have to be okay with not being able to go with plan A, at least for that day. Thank you for your kindness, I truly appreciate it, especially when I know how busy your days are. 💖

Oh KB, you're not only an amazingly strong woman, wife and mother, you are a sweetheart too. 💖 Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. I have had this since my kids were young and back then with all the running around to be done, I really didn't have time or make time to notice or take care of my condition. Really not smart at all on my part, so now I'm paying for years of neglect. If you are able to take care of yourself now, you are way ahead of the game and I applaud you Kay. The best thing a mother can do is teach her children how to value themselves and they learn that mostly by watching her take care of herself. You are doing a great job in all aspects. My mother went through some trying times, when we were young, but through it all she taught my sister and me how to hope, again by example. There us always something to be thankful for, some days it may take a bit more time and effort to find. 💖 Oh and goid job chasing Timothy away. I think he's gone.

CC, I just woke up from the MOST delicious nap, and I’m snickering down here in Texas. I’m such a Karen 😆 It’s FatSecret FFS. MH and weight loss is interconnected and who in the world is bothered by that. Just weird. Anyway, thank you for being candid, today I needed camaraderie and I got it from you ❤️🩹 and you’re really good at compliments! I’m feeling better now, too. Not so guilty about the fatigue.
