Breakfast is just coffee. I skipped dinner yesterday cuz I had a big lunch, then I was dreaming about food all night ☹. But today I woke up with no appetite. I bought breakfast (i'm staring at it) but can't bring myself to eat it. Is this normal? 🤔

So happy to read this because mindful eating is key. I’m not an expert but can confirm that listening to our bodies cues, will allow us to recognize the reason behind why we’re eating. Is it hunger? (Anxiety in my case) Breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal but honestly, breaking fast could be anything! (Especially coffee) CHEERS! ☕️

Lola I agree with bree u just have to listen to your body. fasting in the morning can be great for your energy and clarity. I do it all the time. and I don't have specific times when I eat I just eat when I'm hungry n try to stay mindful while eating. 😊

Thank you both Breeoveryou and Sandyannm. I just ate the breakfast i bought this morning for lunch. Is just that I have to be careful cuz I have hypoglycemia so I know I should not be skiping dinners, and fasting is a big NO NO for me (so I can't always listen to my body). But I'm trying REAL HARD to reduce portions and I think it's finally working cuz I'm getting full with less food!! Yay! :D

I am glad you shared this because if I don't eat dinner I tend to not be hungry also in the morning. on the other hand if I eat a lot at night I'm hungry in the morning. go figure

I can't say if this is normal, but it isn't healthy. Your body needs its three meals a day, plus any extra needed calories in between. I get that having no appetite is difficult, but sometimes we just have to push ourselves to eat, y'know?

Your body doesn't need three meals a day. You can have three meals if you want them or six if you like to eat like that, but it's not unhealthy to eat fewer than 3 meals.

It’s important to listen to your body and some days you can be more or less hungry than others!! that is very normal

I’m more of a more small meals kind of person. My digestion is very very slow so if I eat a large amount I feel bad. Everyone is different. I do try and make each small meal/snack count in terms of protein or fiber etc….
