I have to make a little noise about my weekend accomplishment. I have been trying to jog since August when I restarted getting serious about my health. I have been trudging along with 2-3 mile jogs. Well, I have had an almost unspoken goal to run around the outside of my neighborhood (approx 5.2 miles).

I did it on Sunday. It was by far the longest workout (duration and distance) since I got back to exercising; it was a tremendous morale booster. It also means I am only 1 mile off of a 10k. I was hurting quite a bit Sunday afternoon, but seem to be fairing ok today.

Are you on Atkins? If so, bullet coffee will help your joints and raise your energy. At least it does for me. Add 1 T coconut oil and 1 T heavy cream and whatever sweetener you use. Don't know how it works, just that it does. I add my whey protein (chocolate)to mine for a frothy cup of mocha.

Thanks for the recipe. I am not on Atkins; however, as a diabetic, I restrict and closely monitor my carbs.

You are welcome. It wasn't the carbs I was worried about, but the amount of fat this gives you. Granted it is healthy fat, but still in all, can be bad for a low fat diet. By the way I was diabetic, so I understand the struggle.
