Supposed to be another gray day. It felt like spring though when I let the dogs out.

10758 steps yesterday was a good day. Would have had more steps but assembling things meant being in one place. No specific exercise except dancing around the house to Christmas music.

Some things done in my house, normal weekend chores, still have to finish the laundry and clean the frig. Shelf put together and 2 of the drawer inserts assembled and installed. One more shelf to go, one drawer insert and one door. I need to move stuff in my spare room so these 2 can go there. Yay! I might get the stuff out of boxes.

Spent too long trapped on the phone several times. Daughter is having another boy in June, she was hoping for a girl. It was good to talk to her, I do not get to often.

Guys will be here this am to take a look at some work I need done, stuff I will not tackle. So excited it might actually get done, gave up on my SIL.

Tell her 2 boys will be friends into old age, God must have thought your 1st would need him or vice versa.

I know the feeling - I was on my feet for hours painting furniture; not many steps but it has to count too, right? BCF kept me on the phone thru the painting to TWO barstools. So glad I was able to do both; I'd have been frustrated to have lost that downtime. I know I enjoy an orderly home and imagine you do as well. Pictures!!!

Kmcollins, that's 3 boys for her, big brothers are 7 and 13. I will have 8 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and one great granddaughter. So far. I told her I didn't have boys (3 girls) but are overrun with them as grandsons. :)))

Bella, I count that activity as housework, I can't figure out where else to put it in the exercise choices. Awesome that you could talk and paint!!! I just bought a Bluetooth headset for my phone, need to get it figured out so I talk on it and do other things. Just set up Pandora for exercise music yesterday. I do love my house clean and organized but it parts of it have been torn apart almost since I bought it 5 years ago. I will be glad to get it done. Hoping it will all be painted including the outside trim, doors replaced, window treatments done etc by this time next year. Doing most of it myself takes time. Work will be done over the next month that I will not tackle; roof issue, vents updated on the roof, the front door including the frame replaced. Family friends so I trust them to be good to me. New insulation in my attic (coons have made a mess) in the spring. Then I can play in my yard more and do some quilting and other things I love to do. Enjoying my house project journey but would like it done.

Housework, yes. I counted hauling in the Christmas tree and all that garage activity as housework.
