I am not good at any form or conception of "diet control"
The pressure of Challenge #15 was too much for me.---
I gained 1.8 pounds since I started the challenge ---
I DID THAT MYSELF - the gain has not a thing to do with the Challenge.
I am not good with any kind of food pressure/restriction - I just rebel.
I am like a "Rebel without pause" with any kind of food restrictions.

I changed up my "Go to Breakfast" this morning to
Breakfast Taco without the taco or tortilla shell.
It was good - it was very good!
I am now going to "IF" or pass on lunch today!

390 calories - Tacoless Breakfast Taco - Total Breakfast 390 calories
1 egg scrambled - 1/4 cup diced tomato - 1/4 beans
1 slice Velvetta cheese - topped with 2 Tablespoons mild salsa
4 Ritz crackers - 1/2 cup of grapes - 1/2 apple
- 3 coffee with milk & sugar - 1 cup water
******* One "Equate (Walmart brand) B6 + B12 with Folic Acid -
helps build immunity and helps reduce Homocysteine levels ******
*******Homocysteine is an amino acid.
Vitamins B12, B6 and folate break down homocysteine to create other chemicals your body needs. High homocysteine levels may mean you have a vitamin deficiency.
Without treatment, elevated homocysteine increases your risks for dementia, heart disease and stroke. I am attempting to negate any heart disease.************
AND BECAUSE OF BREAKFAST - I CAN SKIP LUNCH BECAUSE I AM PAST FULL
(I am using only regular market foods -
the beans are from regular market canned "pork & beans"
and I wash and rinse all of the"stuff" off the beans
and use those beans - in breakfasts - lunches - dinners. It works.)

I have read many so called - weight loss diet plans - that never work. They all include food choices from another person's perspective and market purchases of foods that usually a person would not choose on their own - at great cost. I use what I have available - in the cupboard and when I do shop - I get what is discounted or on sale or less expensive and include that in my own food plan. I have to eat food that I can afford and foods that are a part of my regular market purchases. It is all about gaining enough nutrition from the food to be a healthy person and portion controls. When you are attempting to force your body to consume "stored energy -fat" - and you are weighing on the scale at a certain time of day - then eating one slice of toasted pumpernickel bread with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a teaspoon of raspberry jam at 12:30 am - before bed - will be enough to derail any possible loss the next morning in 5 and half hours. I just cannot count it as a complete failure - I will wait until tomorrow morning - and today try to convince my body to use some stored fat energy. SO CLOSE YET SO FAR AWAY !!! I didn't know all that, & I appreciate your explanation! Think I need to up my vitamins!! I tend to be the same way with restrictions, I just can't either. I'm the original rebel without a clue! Lmao!!

Lunch was delicious - Buenita and yes @ HazelHanford - I usually flow along at my steady pace and every time that I change my food plan or install some other "thing" - just anything at all - it all goes sideways. I am doing well without any other checks. I am going to stick to it now!

Jergens, I agree. I decided to do the Mediterranean plan this week, but so far have only eaten 1 meal that was on plan. I realized I wanted to try it to see if I can do better, healthier or faster weight loss, but I'm actually losing about 1.25 to 1.5 lbs a week on average, which is good! I'm sideways now too! Lol It's a lot of meal planning & cooking & I don't cook every meal. I only have limited energy so I cook a great dinner.

Losing up to 1.5 pounds is really good - when my game is on - I lose 3.3 pounds in 9 days - about one third of a pound per day - it all changes when you lose weight and get down into about 20 pounds to lose - then you become that person that you were before - looking at yourself - saying things like "I really need to lose about 15 pounds" - even then you lie to yourself. I am forcing myself to cook - almost every meal - I am forcing myself - I am the worst when I am by myself - I just drink coffee and eat out of tin cans - I really do not care - so I have force myself to care. I get most of my exercise from washing dirty dishes 3 times per day.
