I've been having all kinds of issues with my Internet connections lately. I am hoping the problem is now solved, after Spectrum replaced the outside cables, inside cables, the modem and I have changed my router 3 times. It was really frustrating. I guess the one thing that I should be grateful for was that we were doing a lot of traveling over the past 3 months so it didn't bother me all that much. It is amazing to see how much we have come to depend on the Internet. Back in the early 80's I think I was the only one in my neighborhood that had a computer. Now it is a rarity that people don't have Internet connections.

Remember AOL! That loud squeaky dial up then "You've got Mail"? Many coffee cakes (with neighbors), showed up with that morning wakeup call! Fun times :-) 3 months is a long time to still have service issues. Eek!

Brings back memories of the Campfire Girls tour of the "Computer Room" at the insurance company in our little town of 1200. The room was about 20x40 and full of floor to ceiling computers. It had 6 huge AC units to keep it all cool. Now my phone has more capabilities than that whole room!

Wow, all of those comments bring back so many memories. It is sometimes strange how a couple of words, a smell, a sound, or a song, can transport your mind to another place and another time.
