I actually got the green light from my legal guardian to get the lap band surgery. Now it's just reaching a certain weight number to get it in 6 months.
I actually enjoyed a good walk today. I ended up walking around 2 miles total.

Excellent Morgan. You can do this if you just keep going. Try to control portions and make the healthiest choices you can and keep that body moving. Outstanding that you are asking.

Two miles is 200 calories burned! Keep up the great work, and remember, the diet is more important at this stage for weight loss. Keeping meals small and calories low is psychologically difficult at first, until it becomes habit. Rooting for you, Morgan!

Good for you - I just started walking at 150 pounds - it feels good to walk and it is good for your state of mind as well as toning your body.
