Out of curiosity, how often do people check their weight?

I only do once per week at most because there are always daily fluctuations that I personally don’t think are worth tracking. I also rely heavily on taking measurements and before/after photos because the scale is just one form of measurement and isn’t always reflective of longer term changes. Although will take several weeks of diet change before you start to see a difference regardless. Longer for measurements.

I try to weigh only once or twice a week but if I see I've gained, I'm back to everyday..

I weigh every morning before dressing. The number reflects my eating and exercise over the past few days. It encourages good behavior and gives me a red flag if I've been lax. Good feedback.

Twice a week. I Weigh in on Friday morning and Monday mornings before breakfast. Friday’s tell me how I did over the week and Mondays tell me how I did over the weekend.

Once a month. Taking measurements is better. Or before and after pics.

I weigh myself every morning, but I'm data driven...only log it every couple days to eliminate outliers. You may see more success weighing in every week or two, but that number becomes more important to you then 🤷‍♀️

@Angela Storms Great idea to take pictures along the way👍 I take a picture every 12 lbs down...I can see the difference every time.

1x a week. I tend to get discouraged with the daily swings and am in this for the long haul. Daily weighing tends to make this more of am idol and I'm trying to avoid that.

Once a week. Same time, same place then I stay off the scale until next week. No pressure.

Everyday but post a 7-day average once per week to smooth out daily fluctuations with are 100% normal. #Consistency #DataDriven

I check it everyday, first thing in the monring. Just so I know where I stand. However, I do not record weight gains. I only record my successes. It works for me and it's the best thing about FatSecret, we get to make our own rules.

Used to do daily and update weekly with average. Now just lazy and weigh once per week.

Daily, first thing in the morning while I’m loosing weight, once I hit my goal once a week to make sure I stay within my 5lb limit.

daily first thing in the AM after i use the bathroom. Take a 7 day average to figure out my weekly weight

daily. but I track monthly trends to see what direction I'm going. weight is not as important as other factors like how I move feel look clothing fitment ect.
