Well I gained 4 lbs two days after my last week weigh in. Then last Thursday woke up to our basement flooding at 5 am in the morning. Thank God my husband caught it on time because most of the water was 3 inches in the cold cellar and laundry room and there was only one little area of our carpet that got soaked and a little damaged. It could of been worse but it did set us back to eating healthier because we were so tired of bailing water out until the plumber came to replace our sump pump that we ate take out and then we went away to see family. We ate delicious foods that is fattening but small portions and I weighed myself today to be back down the weight I was last weekend. I was actually surprised because I was expecting to gain weight. Tomorrow back on the program. Happy Family Day everyone!

How is your basement?

My basement is dry now. There wasn't much damage because my husband caught the flood happening just on time. We have a big finished basement and no furniture or the rest of the carpet got damaged. Only a certain part of the carpet got damaged right by the stairs and door going into the cold cellar. If my husband didn't check to see if the sump pump was working it could of been worse and probably had the whole basement flooded,especially the amount of water that was coming in. We borrowed a backup sump pump with a hose which we had go to the bathtub and the amount of water that was flowing for five hours before our plumber came to replace the sump pump, was ridiculous.

It is very hard to stay on track when stuff like that happens. Dont beat yourself up, just try to get back on track. Remember, the weight didn't go up quickly. This is a journey of recovery and please be patient with yourself hun.
