To all who have sent me and my great grand baby prayers, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. They ARE WORKING and Being ANSWERED. He had an MRI and was cleared to have the Cervical collar removed. Today he is being taken off the ventilator. I am not a doctor, but there is still a long way for him to go- time will determine if there is any brain damage. His sister is in foster care and she is 4 years old- so does not understand where Mommy and Daddy are. So many questions and so few answers. Child Protection Services is doing their job and I am Thankful for that.
A family member is applying for guardianship but there is "friends of the parents who also are applying. Not sure who this going to turn out. Future legal hearing will determine the guardianship. As for the parents they are not saying much and legal hearings are pending for them. You read about this; you see it on the news...but never in a million years do you ever think it will happen in your family.
I have good days- I can block out the pain and disbelief. But on the bad days- I want to crawl into bed and cover my head - so no one sees my tears. I always prayer for my family daily and continue to prayer for my sweet babies. Thank you my very dear FS member for giving me the strength to believe things will get better. Hubby's surgery is coming up soon and we have to go into quarantine for 10 days. Find out tomorrow if the heart doctor will give pre-op clearance. ((((HUGS)))) to all
