Missed dinner last night. Called trying to get my printer set up with the change in my internet, I had tried everything I could find in my info and online. Spent 4 @#$%& hours on the phone between HP and AT&T. Still not working. Baked an acorn squash but never did eat it, was past the point of being hungry. I did spend most of the time walking, until my phone almost died. So managed over 10,000 steps.
Also managed to step on a dog toy, slipped, hit my head and bent my glasses, was off the phone at that point. Laid down on my bed after that and fell asleep, all the lights on, the dogs outside, still dressed. Woke up a couple hours later. Am ok except a bump on the side of my head.
Called in sick this am. Headache and I knew I wouldn't be able to focus on my job. Went back to sleep. Headache is better. Will have to get my glasses fixed today. So far being lazy on the computer, drinking coffee, and the pups have decided it's a good morning to snuggle.

Grins, it is not making me happy. Head hurts and found out if I move much a bit dizzy off and on. Good thing I stayed home.

Be careful. My mother died from a fall in which she hit her head. My father's decline began after a fall.

Definitely, oh so sad about your parents. My neighbor was super active, still running and working in her restaurant when she fell and broke her hip @84. She still does a lot but nothing like she used to, closed her restaurant. I just wasn't paying attention to the dog toys they had scattered around.

I suppose asking if you've gone to make sure you don't have a concussion is overkill? That sleeping after hitting your head, scary. Feel better hon. I've been trying to get my printer online & have the same hp/att thing too and don't have the patience. Besides.. too many dog toys around here.

Bella, I actually think I might have a mild one, no symptoms of a major one. The symptoms all fit. Headache, dizzy, queasy stomach, so lazy today, fuzzy thinking. Doc would say take some aspirin and rest, don't drive. I have to drive 15 miles one way to my docs. I'm just playing on the computer doing nothing. Cooked a potato in the convection oven, sounded good, didn't help my stomach. Am getting a black eye as I hit the floor right above my right eye. Thought of you, after I crashed :)) hope you get yours working. I think I'm going to try printing with them connected with a USB cable. I have some financial stuff I need copies of, online of course. Be careful of those toys. Will teach me to watch where I'm going..' maybe..
