I HATE having to depend on others to do simple tasks. That said, I took it upon myself to "clean my desk" and got rid of a lot of out of date papers/bills. Unfortunately, I also incurred the wrath of the hernia. NOW I have issues with pain and nausea. Way to go me :( How is it possible to live the rest of your life never bending over or picking up over 5 pounds? You can't even pick up a gallon of tea/milk/etc. 'scuse me, I'm whining again.

I GET IT! Recovering from lumpectomy. It's not even a muscle. But it sure hurts if I try to lift anything with my right arm. Trying help grandson get new house ready to move in asap. Pacience is NOT my long suit! Sorry for your trials! Prayers for your recovery.

Unfortunately, there is no recovery for me. I've had this hanging over my head since 2009. Open wound, bedridden for 2 years, ostomy, ostomy reversal in 2012 with abdominal wall rebuild AKA mesh placement. That's when they told me I should never pick up over 5 lb and I should never bend over. The icing on the cake was to watch falls because any one of them can detach mesh and there's nothing else that can be done.
