A little holiday throwback. The most unflattering photo Christmas 2019 when we were releasing a bird we saved. Same shirt, new pants from today and I tried to match my pose. The before was probably 10lbs lower than my highest weight.

The story about the bird: My Grandma did not follow the directions while baking a frozen pumpkin pie. It ended up soupy in the middle and she had the bright idea to put it outside for the animals. A chickadee landed right in the middle and got stuck. Commence rescue operations. I went and got the bird and brought it inside to wash off all the pie filling (and got pecked a million times for my troubles). We kept it safe in the box until it's feathers dried before releasing it back outside. Husband wanted to capture the release and took the most unflattering video of my backside.

Thanks everyone! It does feel great. Sadly I don't have any pictures of me at my highest weight (In hindsight I would have liked them just to see my progress but I was too embarrassed) I put on another 10ish lbs in 2020 and then lost it all in 2021. Total of 57lbs gone and I'm now the same weight I was in college. Next year's goals are all recomp and getting my legs back into shape. Gotta work on these chicken legs 🐔!

😂 bearnoggin I've gotten that reaction a few times IRL. I didn't realize I looked that different until finding some of these old candid photos of myself.
