I had a fail and a victory at the same time yesterday. I made fried green and red tomatoes last night for dinner. I also tried a tofurky hot dog for the first time. Actually I had 2. I was STUFFED! I definitely ate too much. I covered the hot dogs with sauteed peppers and onions, mustard, ketchup, and relish. I probably should have only made 1, but I haven't had a hot dog in years and it was SO GOOD! I really try and avoid the fake meats except as a treat, and this was definitely a treat. A couple hours later I was craving something sweet, and I had a chocolate bar in the fridge. I had one piece. It turned out that was all I wanted. I was so proud of myself. NORMALLY I would have shoved the whole thing in my face without even thinking, but I guess the one piece was enough. So, yay!

Congratulations. That is huge accomplishment having only one bite! So hard to leave the treats behind, isn't it? The hotdogs sound delish!
