I did end up switching a lot of my condiment choices. I ended up getting Hellman's olive oil mayonnaise, and I use mustard a lot instead of ketchup. I eat a lot of fish and chicken instead of ground beef. Sometimes I will have pork or steak. This week I had been eating a lot of salads and fish. I was gonna get shrimp but I ended up getting salmon and tilapia fillets. I can't eat certain dressings any more. I do puck light or fat free depending on what the calories are and how many carbs and sugar. A lot of times I'll pick Basalmic vinaigrette. Or. I will use mayonnaise instead of having regular dressing.What are y'all's choices for salad dressings and condiments if you are doing high protein low carb?

olive oil mayo has the same number of calories as regular. it's marginally better for you, but you still have to watch the amount you consume.

I use a lot of black pepper and those mixes in the grinders (pepper, salt, garlic & onion mix). But really, it all comes down to portion sizes. Take what you really want and halve it. And it's good that you're cooking your own food.

I make my own dressing. No store-bought. My favorite so far is honey mustard: Mix Dijon mustard, honey, salt, pepper, olive oil, water. So good!

I eat a lot of ground turkey taco salads. Use salsa as the dressing. Usually with a little sour cream on top too. No tortillas. Just ground turkey over a bucket of romaine lettuce. And avacado if they are on sale.

I pretty much gave up mayo. I quit buying bread and pasta. Not because I'm low carb, it's because I'd want butter, jelly, peanutbutter or fatty deli meat on the bread and fatty cream sauces over the pasta.

I have a recipe from Jamie Oliver that uses fatfree yogurt and mustard and herbs to make a nice creamy dressing.

Oil free recipe: Balsamic vinegar, squirt of Dijon mustard, maple syrup to taste. Vinegars, mustards, and sweetener can be switched up for different flavors.

Fat free zesty Italian dressing from Kraft is 15 calories (3 carb) it's like $1.50 and can be bought almost anywhere, and taste pretty good on anything... Salads, chicken, potatoes, rice, veggies. Also just good ol hot sauce or mustard. And no sugar added ketchup. I do buy G Hughes sometimes, but hardly ever any more.
