I'm a little tired from being up since 2am, and working. My exercise was 10 minute stretching and leg workouts using my dumbbells. Too cold for me to be walking outside. I don't like the cold. I'm just glad I didn't have to bring in buggies at work today. I'm hoping to shoot for 5lbs next week. I've always wondered how the people who do the high protein low carb lose a lot. I'm not losing much of anything and I workout and eat small meals. I eat 1200 calories most of the time, sometimes it's a bit over. How are they losing 50lbs a month? I try to put in as much of a workout as possible. Still 1.2lbs-3lbs. I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I even measure my food using a food scale. Is there something I'm not doing?

How much water are you drinking? Are you getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom? You need at least 64 oz of water and you should be getting up in the middle of the night 2 or more times. I’m still struggling a lot but my doctors have helped me with that advice. I wasn’t losing until I made sure I was getting up at night. That meant more water than the 64 oz.

I do drink 32-64oz of water most of the time.

Make sure you get at least 64 oz. Most of the time I drink 72 oz of plan water during the day plus another 24 oz at night. That’s not counting the zero calorie fluids I drink. That’s my 2 cups of black coffee/tea and zero calorie gatorade. No sodas!! Sugar free soda is still bad.

🤣 Unless it's like a double leg amputation or something, no one is losing 50lbs a month. Maybe 20lbs but its more then likely most water.

As for the water, half of your body weight in oz is where I’ve seen people lose the most. 64 is a good start, but you need more. I think 1200 calories is too little for your body weight. I have seen a LOT of people stop losing weight when they eat too few calories. Try 1500 and see if it’s easier to stick with and I think you’ll lose more. 10% of your body weight is about the most you can lose in a month and keep off. You’re doing great! Be patient and come up with a plan you can be on for the rest of your life. That mindset changes things. Hope that helps!
