last night i was looking at some pictures that were taken at a party. man, i look at them and think how fat i look especially when i have a double chin. it's quite upsetting. then i sit there and just think about the fatness on my body and i get so frustrated with myself. i exercise so much and eat fairly well but just can't seem to reduce the belly fat. it's hard not to dislike myself physically. i don't even like taking pictures. i wonder why i place so much emphasize on my physical being.

Don't let things you can't control or change any longer get the best of you. I like this variation of a phrase, NO ON CAN MAKE ME FEEL INFERIOR WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Stop giving yourself permission to feel bad about yourself. Keep up with the exercise and the healthy eating and in the long run, you will be terrific.

I understand exactly how you feel. 100% The belly fat is so hard for me too, esp after 4 kids (1 set of twins)......I exercise, cycle, run, and nothing seems to help the belly .

Belly fat is probably the hardest thing to get rid of to be honest...you just have to figure out a good ab routine, it may take months but you'll start to notice...planking, it sucks, but it works miracles....

@madanjen - it's a constant struggle. part of it is having expectations to be the size I was a year ago and fit into the old clothes. always struggle to just accept and love myself for the way i am. @ashleycycles115 it's tied to hormones @socolova - hitting the gym 1x a week to add some strength training for some fat burn!
