Last Thursday I tried something new, paddleboarding. I was scared to death! Before the time was up though I did finally stand on it. I was so nervous. I don't think I will ever do it again unless I know how deep of water I am in. This lesson was in a bay that was made deeper to accommodate larger cabin cruiser boats to be moored in. The main lake was so big and was pretty choppy with waves that night. This area was protected and like a sheet of glass.

Wow you must have talent, I would probably not be able to do that! :)

Wayne, I had finally stood up on it for the first time right before this picture was taken. Most of the time I spent on my knees on the board. I am afraid of water...so it was a leap of faith to even go out there. Considering that I was immersion baptized and did this all in a weeks time I am really out of my comfort zone.

What fun!! I'd love to try that. I think it wonderful that you are getting outside of your comfort zone and having fun with it all. Inspirational!

So proud of you for trying and to think you actually stand up on your first time out!! I have never tried paddleboarding, but I do love the water. Hope that you have a great week!!
