How wonderful!!! I used to not like mushrooms, but over time they have become an absolute favorite for me! This is beautiful food as usual!!! I took pictures in Munich at the central open marketplace for you. Maybe I will post, but perhaps I can just send you a link to it on pm.... Yeah, I'll do that since people are probably tired of travel pictures, but it was the biggest mushrooms I've ever seen in my life!!! They were cutting off steak size pieces to sell!!! We just bought some grapes, pretzels and a cup of beautiful olives... Everything was wonderfthere but so expensive in the market.

The "real" mom of our German daughters, with whom we stayed many days, made spatzle one day for lunch. Oh my goodness!!!! It was like no big deal for her... Just a simple lunch! She fried onions and bacon together while making the noodles... Cutting and scraping bits of dough into boiling water like a mad woman! (meanwhile holding a phone to her ear talking with a friend) In the bottom of her boiling water were potatoes, which she then mashed up after the absolute piles of noodles were done. She added the onion slurry to the mushy spuds, and that was the sauce for rhe noodles. Unbelievable!!!!

Spätzle is super essy to make Melissa. And fry up the leftovers in butter & parsley then top with an egg gor breakfast 😋🍳

And you should be able to forage your own shrooms M 🍄 with the obvious rule .. "When it doubt, toss it out".
