Yesterday evening I was at an event to promote more people, especially those among the African- American community to get vaccinated. There is too much misinformation spreading on social media. This morning I woke up to the news a friend of mine died from COVID overnight. What the hell is the matter with people when they refuse to believe people who have dedicated their life's to helping others are not trustworthy? smh

Vaccinate, wear a mask in indoor setting, wash your hands and get out and resume your life. I have chosen not to eat out ( never really did anyway) and when I have, I don’t do indoor dining. That is one of the highest infection sites. I no longer concern myself with unvaccinated people. I avoid them. They have made a choice.

Blows my mind as well Chow Moore. I’m a nurse and I just don’t get it. With each of my three injections I had a couple of punk days but it is worth it to know that should I contract Covid, my likelihood of surviving is pretty good. My sister is a long hauler. I reviewed her chest CT with her doc yesterday and it was pretty impressive as to the damage that has been done to her lungs.

Many of the comments are a great reminder to stay cautious, even when you are fully vaccinated. I find myself letting my guard down, not always wearing a mask when I should, going to overly crowded places without a thought. As has been said, being vaccinated should lessen out chances of becoming seriously ill from Covid, but the best defense is to no get Covid at all.

Be aware that zinc, like all medications, whether OTC or prescription, has a toxicity level. if you are going to keep these things in your pocket to pop every now and again, make sure you know what that toxicity level is. Follow the dosing instructions on the package.
