Why oh why did I buy cheese different kinds thinking I could eat just a little staying under my calories. Knowing cheese is my weakness. While I haven’t went over the calories this has set for me I went over what I have set for myself. At this point I am thinking I should pick a cheat day and eat it all. Otherwise I will just keep eating on it everyday until gone. Now I remember why I stopped going to the store and started ordering and picking up. So I don’t impulse buy.

Might be better to plan a nice cheesy dish each day within your plan so it doens throw you off. A chest day taken out of guilt will only make it harder - you can absolutely eat cheese regularly and stay on track if you plan for it!

Source: I buy cheese in bulk when it's buy one get one and I add it to almost every meal, still doing fine with goals!

Cheese is my kryptonite! My husband made cheese dip tonight and I cannot stay out of it!!!

I understand completely, those are the same things that go through my brain. I usually succeed and have enough strength but I also fail on occasion. I just get back up and keep going and continue to try to make the best decisions!

Thanks everyone. I try hard to keep each meal under 250 and have actually been keeping it under 200 so I can eat more often I try to keep my total for the day under 1200 a small piece of one of the cheeses is 110. Maybe I will freeze it in small bags so if I want it I have to let it thaw out first and I can’t just grab it.

like taiwyn said just incorporate it into your meals. if you can't control yourself then just throw it away and be done with it. one huge cheat day of cheese would probably be a bad idea in alot of different ways. lol

Cut it up in cubes and freeze it. It gets crumbly but is great to use melted over veggies. Secret to cheese is making your own. The effort slows down getting too much. My big down fall of the past was cream danishs, until one day I just made a deal with myself that if I didn’t create it myself, I shouldn’t eat it. When it has taken hours to create, you tend to savor and respect the results.

Yeah I have no will power so update today ate all the cheese. I have been counting calories for 3 weeks and have lost 4 lbs every week (12) without exercise so maybe I will try to be active to make up for cheese so I can still lose 4 lbs but if I don’t lose 4 hopefully I will still lose something. Tomorrow is a new day. And I learned I can’t control my cheese addiction. Today I will end my day probably around 2300-2500 calories this app says I should eat 1800 and I usually eat under 1200 a few times I was able to come in at 900 for the day. But nibbling on cheese everyday was not letting stay under 1200 and still feel full. I trick is to not be mad at myself and to just move on and not dwell. I thought I could incorporate the cheese into my calories but I am not there yet.

Part of lifestyle change is building that willpower. You'll get there, Just don't give up or any temptation will throw you off. Moderation is the key.

Don't go to Trader Joe's! I walked out of there with Kerrygold Irish Cheddar with Chilis and English Cheddar with Caramelized Onions.

I always say, "Cheeses Luves You!" to my hubby. I tend to purchase low-moisture, skim-milk Mozzarella cheese. That's my fave. Hubby likes Queso Fresco so I choose skim-milk Queso-Fresco for him. =)

Cheese fanatic: Listen to this. Cheese has a strong enough flavor that you don't have to put much of it on your food to be able to taste it. You can enjoy a small piece mixed with, on top of, or beside the vegetables you know you should be eating...and that way you don't have to completely say sayonara to the cheese you love. With time, you will find your tongue more used to the flavors of the vegetables, and you will then be able to start enjoying them, at least sometimes, without any cheese at all. Trust me! And don't just be a slave to your tongue!

I just had to go off cholesterol meds because completely because of servere side effects. so goodbye to my cheese..lord I love cheese and like you its always way to tempting so maybe better off just don't eat can't say I'm happy nut I already never eat carbs no bye bye to cholesterol foods.🍕
