Got in some water color painting. Made a "Thank You" gnome to hand out at the hospital when I get my pre=op COVID test. The people who work in the out patient test areas at the hospital need to be thanked, too. Neighbor brought over 2 cream puffs and 1 éclair. Hubby just had to show me- and said guess you'll have to try these. I answered " NOPE- enjoy! Have these as an early birthday gift!" Why is it so hard sometimes for men to understand even grasp the idea about the wife dieting??? I love him to death but he always is bringing me food that I really like and I have been trying so hard not to eat. He never complains about my weight-even at my highest 327 pounds. I keep gently trying to tell him enough is enough. I know I am a lucky woman and I try to keep him happy but this is hard.

Nice note, very thoughtful, I am sure they will be touched. My gf keeps asking me when I can drink wine again, that she misses my pizzas, that we should eat the foie gras she brought back. I don't think she's being mean but it's really stressful.

I meant the nagging is not limited to husbands. Other people don't understand the mental energy out takes to try and limit ourselves. I admit that I was the same until I tried to lose weight myself.

What a cute note and a thoughtful gesture.
Maybe you could sit down with your husband and tell him you need his help. Perhaps tell him that you want to live the best life you can as a healthy person, to not have to worry about high blood pressure, or diabetes, or other disabling diseases. Maybe tell him what he can do to help you succeed. Good luck! 💜
