Took a 4th of July Holiday beginning on the 3rd...and it showed!

A friend gave me a last minute call and a totally huge surprise, first that the friend called me and that she got tickets for the Queen Concert with Adam Lambert doing the Freddie Mercury thing. Though I was caught by surprise and we got there late and missed half the show, IT WAS STILL GREAT!

So that started my weekend on eating and drinking too much and, not exercising. Gained .8 pounds but had a great time and I am back on track today. How was your 4th?

Hey... just a minor set back. Just look at it this way.. a setback is a setup for something great! So you'll drop those few ounces in no time. :)

Great surprise Queen!! I had a good 4th with part of my family and friends. Wt stayed stable, didn't eat much, drank too much beer, not enough exercise. Had decided not to track for the long weekend.

OMG... I would give anything to see that concert. Of course, Adam isn't Freddie, but how did he do?

Cool! Sorry you missed the beginning, but how awesome! Less than a pound of weight gained sounds acceptable to me, lol. I had a pretty mellow 4th with daughter and grandsons joining us for a simple bbq. Did a few tame fireworks early and then DH had to hit the sack at 9 pm to go to work in the morning. I worked 8:45-1:30 on the 4th, but that was alright.

Thanks for the support everyone. Back on track today. Though I only lost .2 pounds, I feel good and the goal this week is to get to 215.8. ClassicRocker, Adam has such a powerful voice that he really kept up with Freddie on the power vocals. But Freddie had such a special voice. He had this gentle sweet voice in the lower registers and softer parts of the songs and frankly, Adam can't touch Freddie in these areas but still damn good.
