So they told me in hospital my body is actually fighting my body. And it was winning. My platelets were .4, kidneys and liver function way down, gall bladder and stones, so they looked at that to see if I needed surgery.Had colonoscopy and the upper down to make sure everything is pristine. It is. The prep. Still sucks.The best part I was told in the ER if I came in a day later they could have done nothing for me, I was totally septic.
I seem to have a procedure and immediately go septic. That’s the body attack thing , but my dad died of sepsis. So that was a slap in the face.
So I started thinking is my dad had any procedures the summer prior to his death in September. He had dental procedures. He had dentures! That was a major procedure as he still had all his teeth including his wisdom teeth!!
Poor daddy! I take after him more than I thought. Not just height.
Looking back to 1970 what could they have done? What they did put him on morphine and waited for his strong heart to stop beating. It’s horrible to think I had 1 day.
