Good morning FS friends. Had a good day yesterday. We took a truckload of books,😟 (very hard for me) cds, and dvds to donate in Las Cruces. That meant 4 hours in the truck round trip. Not so great for getting activity in, but a good day just the same. We dropped off the donations, so a bit of lifting was involved when stacking the piles of books into a back room for the volunteer. I'm joking and sad that I would even think that was a workout!🥴 We then went to eat at Village Inn. I had half of a Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich with coleslaw. Joe's cousin and brother joined us and it was definitely a guy dominated event. The stories those guys tell! We all had a piece of pie. I had Lemon Supreme. Joe and his brother took off to Home Depot and I went to Hobby Lobby for some girl time. 😀 As I have said before, working, not as hard as I should, on getting myself together regarding my health. I went for my 2 hour massage on Thursday and was telling my healing lady about my digestive issues, so I ordered bitter digestive tincture from her. She uses local herbs and I'm sure they will help when I mess up my gut health, although the goal is to NOT mess it up in the first place. It's been a bit rainy here and my little rustic garden is still being enjoyed by the birds. Hope you all are getting closer to who and where you want to be, no matter how long it takes. ❤️

Thank you Nikina. You are always so encouraging. I need to get to the market to get some food that is agreeable, so that my stomach does not rebel! 😟 It's about making the right choices. Life is still very good. 🙂

Thank you LC. One, if not my all time favorite, is the burgundy hollyhock. I had to hack down my big plant when we replaced a bedroom window, but it will come back. This is a smaller hollyhock growing on the other side of that area of the garden.

It was Bill. I do enjoy all of their company. Both brother and cousin are single, so I am always the only female and get to hear some pretty interesting stories. I usually feel a need to do some kind of girly activity after a few of these get togethers. 😄

DP, we like to go to St. Vincent de Paul to donate, that way we can run errands and visit with family at the same time. The ride is actually really nice, at least half way there. Table decor and some other departments were on sale. Of course I bought somr non-needed items, but it wad nice to stroll every single aisle and not rush. Hope you're able to enjoy your time shopping when you do go. 👍

Thank you Mer. 😊 I really love my little garden and enjoy watching the birds frolic in there. The books belonged to my mother-in-law, who passed away 4 years ago. We only were able to go through about half of her books and haven't even touchrd our stash. What a shame you weren't able to keep your books and art, but I am sure you'll have a nice collection again and soon. Books and art bring comfort , in my opinion. ❤

Oh, Becky! Beautiful, beautiful! And I know when you look past those flowers is a wonderful, open Vista I long to see! Sounds like a good day with good stuff accomplished! I love getting rid of stuff and get totally stressed about trying to figure out buying stuff with which to decorate my place. I still need your help in that department! Thank you for sharing your beautiful flowers!!! I love the purple Holly hock too!!

Aw, thank you Gib. 💕 I have to keep that attitude, simply because it's so much harder this time around. I won't give up, it just seems I have so much more junk going on (within me) that needs to be sorted out in order for me to move forward. It really is about changing/ improving my life and the daily choices. Geez, I'm tired just writing this! 🙄🥴😉
