My early morning, walk today was extra interesting! I was blessed to see this balloon so close as to both hear and see the flame heating the air! Then two sweet river otters came out on a log just as I was passing. I am terribly sad my camera is so poor that you can hardly see them. They were very big and quite near! I'm guessing they were more than three feet long from tip of tail to nose! Such special critters!

Thanks, guys! ♥️ I have only ever seen river otters at this river. Pretty often I see their heads as they swim, but only once before this have I ever seen them on the bank. I got to see a whole family with pups once! 💕

Wow! That's so cool on both counts!!! I've never seen a balloon up close. I have seen otters at the zoo up close though. But never out and about! How adorable!!! I bet that made your day!

I did have a nutria run at our sliding glass door once. Thought it would run into it, but it didn't. Thank goodness!!! It just took off and ran away.
