Day 31 and its my 64th Birthday today and the end of my first month of dieting.
During this period I went all out and managed a 7.7 kg loss. I now top the scales at 13 stone 10-1/2 lb in old UK speak and much better than the 16 stone I would have been looking at had I not dieted.

My next important weigh in will be first thing on 1st Aug. I do have a few events before then where calorie control won't be easy and so a target weight of 83 kg for then will still be a stretch for me.

The 20g of milled flaxseed that I'm adding to my breakfast for the last two days best described as bland but it does make reaching 25-30g of fibre a day much easier.

Even though it's only 7:30 AM. I'm a morning person and been out for a decent walk already and got 12000 steps under my belt. Today will be a cake and alcohol infused one and I will do my best to keep it under control and end the day with a half credible calorie deficit.
