Thank you so very much for your kind words and encouragement! It means so very much to me to have the support... It urges me to do my best! I'd sure like to be right at my goal weight for my 2 years in "maintenance" anniversary, August 1st. I've spent most of that time pretty close, but I've drifted up some the last few months. Yes, more than a number, I want fitness and strength and loose clothing! I'll just keep logging my intake, working out, and recording my weight frequently here. This is sure a journey, and I am so glad I am not alone! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much, my friends, for your encouraging words. I will feel better when my fitness level increases. At least it is moving in the right direction. I couldn't fit into my wedding dress for our anniversary this year... 😭 Maybe that doesn't need to be my goal every year, but I'm still hoping by the end of summer to get the zipper up! 😁  

Still slim and on track. And the size 8 must be a true size 8, not vanity sizing because I see so many enormous 4s and 6s where it's really just flattering people. 

Lol- LC... I got my fat ass into a pair of sixes a couple months ago because they were labeled as "curvy". 😆 Almost bought them just to say so but I'm a straight 10 and I knew that was a crock of sh*t. I'm confused about sizes too when I see people say they're a 2 or 4 but they're my size based on pics. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe if you are short it is smaller sizes. Beats me. Whatever makes people happy I guess. I'm sure it helps the clothes to sell.  

Haha, LaughingChevre! Thank you! I do have a last pair of 10s I still wear. The waist is too big, but they are skinny jeans with zero give.... Straight cotton. I was wearing size six jeans yesterday, but they have a bit of give in the fabric. Yes, dear princess, sizes make no sense. 🙄  

Lol @ DP. Shortness explains some of it, I think. If one person wears a 6 at 5'10" and another person wears the same size at 5'0", they are not the same size (width, girth, whatever). But it's also just labels and what people tell themselves they fit into. Some dresses, stretchy stuff, stuff that's cut to be oversized anyway all allow a smaller size on the label. Used to squeeze myself into certain clothes and tell myself they fit, but as I lost weight and kept trying them on, I realized that there's quite a big range of what "fit" means. 

Melissa, I've worn all the pants I have as long as I could. It's only when they are literally unable to stay in place when I move that I retire them. 

So I’m 5’10 and I’ve been a 5 with an NG tube in bed at the hospital. I’m super happy with my size 13’s and my 11’s otherwise. I’m postpartum 2 months, closing in on size 15. And I look good I feel. The number is not a great indicator for health, it’s so different for everyone..
