Well that's a pleasant surprise! Tuesday I got my second Covid shot, and yesterday I felt like absolute shit. I went to work, but ended up leaving after less than 2 hours. I spent much of the day laying on my couch. Did you know nausea is a potential side effect? I came and went. Anyways. When feeling unwell, and I am sure this is true for many people, we are more likely to give into cravings for comfort. I wanted a sandwich so bad. So I ordered in a small sub (with plenty of veggies and on whole wheat), but also some potato chips and a cookie. Altogether, as a guesstimate - as this was not a chain restaurant, I blew my entire RDI on the one meal. 🤭
But, it was great, and comforting, and not completely horrible for me. It also kept me full, and I didn't feel hungry again the rest of the day.
All of this said - I was not expecting much movement on the scale today, and surely not in the right direction.
Feeling better today, so far, but still achey. I'm off work today, though so more time to rest.
