Erquiaga, there are some exceptional recipes in these books. The Pueblo cookbook belonged to my MIL. ❤

Oh boy! Homemade bread! 😃 

mmmm, I love bread. do you happen to have "in the pink" which isn't bread, but from the pink adobe restaurant in Santa Fe? it's a little old, but has some interesting recipes in there. not all southwestern either. there's a rib recipe that uses a cup of tequila I made once. that was really tasty. I should try that one again.  

sorry for the hijack. I'm hungry, it seems.

Katsolo, I just ordered the cookbook. Thank you! I also ordered Rancho de Chimayo most recent cookbook. I've been wanting to buy for awhile now. If you're ever in New Mexico again, Rancho de Chimayo restaurant is a wonderful place to dine. ❤ 

ccandco, tequila sounds good with just about anything, but especially in a shot glass with some lime and salt nearby.

Thank you wifey. My bread did not turn out, so I make flat bread instead. They taste like a hybrid tortilla. A hybrid flatbread! 🫓 😁

Yes Bear! It was 27 degrees the other night and the wind was crazy! It's calmed down now, but we might still get one more late freeze before spring decides to really stick around. :)
