Hubby went to the Dr. yesterday at 1pm for a diabetic infection in his foot, and last nite at 6pm he still was not home & wouldn't answer his phone...
I called everywhere no Mike..The pharmacy said he never picked up his meds....I knew then something was wrong..My grandaughter her BF, my Niece..all went looking for him driving thru parking lots..Grandaughter & her BF found him around 7pm sitting in the car with it running & his foot on the gas..He had been there since likely 2:45..He was asleep, & his sugar was low..He was not thinking clearly at all..He refused to go to the Hospital..
My Niece finally after an hour convinced him to get in their car, and they brought him home..He's asleep, has a slight fever & will be ok..He dosent really know what happened yesterday ....I have no idea why no one noticed him sitting there in a running car all those hours...He is type 2 Diabetic has been for 30 years, won't watch what he eats at all and refuses to test his blood..now he has Cellulitis in his leg again..When I made his app. they said for him to go to their other location where he had been once before..we looked for him there but it was closed..Their office had moved but the lady failed to inform me..It was a very scary day...

Watch those feet! My hubby passed away with a green in right foot infection went to left. Make him do what is required to fight diabetics . The doctors were going to take his legs. that doesn't always stop it , it slows it. My husband's heart could not take all the physical stress.. He also was Marine agent orange so he had to fight for his life. God Bless You and take care😄💐 of your self.

That's too scary for me too think about. I can't imagine how he was after once he found out. I am trying to lose weight to reverse my type 2 diabetes. I am currently prediabetic. It runs in the family like wild fire. I understand that it's a hard thing to deal with. My grandfather had his leg amputated from diabetes. Its rough. I hope he gets better and maybe get his meds situated.

ty all! Yes it was extremely scary! He only remembers going to the dr...today he is better, he has cellulitis in his leg but no fever..God is great and I hope its a wake up clal for him ty for the comments!!

Time for a phone or watch with tracking features. iPhone will do it, there is also an android version. Sorry it was scary.

Thank-you all very much! Today is better..Im trying to show him he can ejoy food jst not as much or the wrong foods...Im trying to get him to learn diabetic do's and dont's instead of me being a foodie bitch..lol If there is any group or place I can go that shows what type 2 diabetics can eat in a day or should not eat plz point me to it!! huggs!
