❤️Welcome to Motivational Monday! February is Heart Month!❤️
Even with a windchill of -37C in Calgary this morning 🥶, I am sipping my green tea, enjoying the sunshine ☀️ and pretending I am in Hawaii 🏖️🍹🌺. I look forward to the day I can actually plan a vacation once again! ✈️
So, heart and cardio awareness, eh? I've got myself back on food track and prepped 4 dinner meals yesterday. I had "hot Cheerios" as a treat on weekend instead of chips. Scale shows a couple pounds down since Friday, so moving in the right direction! I have not been doing enough cardio, for sure. A couple walks per week isn't enough. This week looks frigid cold, so time for videos!🚶
I had a clinical heart stress test a few years ago and the cardiologist recommended 150 minutes cardio with 1 hour strength training per week. I have never followed this simple advice! Okay, these next 3 weeks, I will focus on getting to that basic level.
