Made some ice cream, you know, to go with the veggie tray. ; ) It came out really good.

Eve, I didn't take a photo of it frozen, but it was pretty easy to make. I am going to make my next batch using mexican chocolate. 🙂

Sweet Melissa, ii was a gift from my sister. I'm trying really hard not to make more ice cream until I lose some more weight! 🙃

What did you use for the base? I've tried whipped cream and half n half but it doesn't taste like store bought. Maybe it's not supposed to???

Bear, sorry I just saw your question. I used whipping cream and milk. It tasted like soft serve Dairy Queen. Wifey, the longer it's churned the thicker it gets, so I would think you could use it for an ice cream cake. Maybe try an ice cream cookie sandwich first?
