I didn't weigh in today. Just wanted go write a quick journal entry. First covid shot Saturday, Jan 30. Next shot scheduled Feb 20. Glad when this phase is over and we can move on. Afterwards had quality time with daughter and her husband and then a nice dinner eith them. Good day overall. Yesterday relaxed watching snow falling and bird's antics at the feeder. Just wanted to eat all day and nothing "hit the spot". Must be my inner bear getting ready to hibernate. Scale will have a picnic with my numbers when I do step up.

Yes, I felt my same old self after the shot and the next day too. I just stayed so hungry all day long which isn't supposed to be a side effect. Not so hungry today. Lol. 2nd shot is suppose to effect people the worst of the two.

Happy for you getting your “jab..” congrats! 💉 .... I’m enamored with that idea of not weighing in, and leaving the day’s tally not represented ... at least for a time. I envision relaxing and mindlessly enjoying the forbidden fruits. 😥🥂🎰

I'm getting my 2nd on the 20th too! Hopefully we won't be too sick from it. But some reaction is a good sign that its working! Good luck! I'll be thinking about you!

Thanks jollyfox! I did take a rest this past week. The whole week . Just to enjoy the snow, ice, birds, etc. Bliss. Valentine's gift to myself. I did do my exercise reps so I didn't totally mess up. Now I'm refocused on the food end.
