A couple days ago I wrote about the NFL playoffs and how it reminded me of my older brother in particular. I was really surprised by all the friendly comments. This site is very different that most social platforms. The people here are just so unique in that there is very little trolling or bickering like you often see on Facebook. People are more tolerant of others and just more supportive here. It is a wonder to me why the general population just isn’t like that. We would have a lot less crime, less wars and our society would be so much further ahead. I can start to drift here into my life experiences after the military and some observations of people I have made dealing with narcissists. I have had to deal with so many self-righteous people in my life I had wondered in some circumstances why a few of these people weren't fragged a long time ago, not that I would wish that on anyone but a little human decency and compassion among fellow humans goes a long way toward creating a society where we can all prosper. I guess that just is not something in "man's" overall nature. Too bad. We all are the losers in the end.
