Still here. Still holding steady at 127. Still slammed with work. To the handful of people that are waiting for sample packages, those go out this week.

I have been working on not being as impatient with the lack of loss. I lost a lot last year and it's completely normal for my body to need some catch-up time.

I also haven't been as dedicated as I need to be with fitness. So working that back in is on this year's agenda.

My MiL who has been nothing but unkind about the Husband and I being vegan just completed her first week eating "clean" and she loves it.
She'll probably eventually stop saying that everything would be better with a "little chicken".

Onwards and downwards.

If MiL is the kind of person that needs celebrity endorsement, try sneaking "The Game Changers" into her movie viewing cue. It certainly shut up a number of folks in my circle that were so negative about my lil sis & BiL veganism.

Ahhh. Mother in laws. I can relate... 😉 Mine has criticized everything I do from how I close a door ( too loud for her taste) to my propensity to wear shirts with patterns & prints ( she favors subdued monotone). And let’s not get into child rearing, my solo travel, and so much more. 😂 the negativity & criticism used to hurt but after 24 years... eh, it’s just her personality. My father in-law, though, was a dream & a fun person. I miss him so much.

GibJig- I completely understand. And a friend of mine from back home said, "getting angry at her because she's being unkind is like being angry 'cause the sun is shining. Can't do anything about either." and I just"got" it. It's been a lot easier since then. 🙂
