Lifted 65# today. Not my best but better than the bar the last couple times. Shoulder felt better with bar alone. Not so great with the weights added but I think it’s getting stronger. Tried some new exercises today. Don’t think I like skull crushers lol. Or maybe I wasn’t doing them correctly but I sure don’t like that weight getting so close to my head when I’m laying down! Could also manage some lat raises but only with 5# weights. Got all 3 sets of 10 done this time though which is better than the 4-6 reps last time I tried.

Probably didn’t help that I carried big heavy panels on my right shoulder yesterday. It was sore before I got to the gym. Now my neck is tight and sore so it must’ve overcompensated for something. Had some retail therapy today as well! :)

Couldn’t see the screen so adding this here... Saw what I think was a girl at the gym today. Boy haircut, teenage girl build, high voice, female facial features, but flat chest and acted like a young man so I’m not positive. (I miss the days we could easily tell gender, pants were worn at the waist etc) This person was about my height and size, maybe a little smaller, and lifted 185# on bench!! The big guy beside her was lifting the same! She dropped down to 145# and finished her sets. She had a bandage around her upper arm with some sort of a patch thing underneath. Have to google to see what that might’ve been. I can’t imagine lifting 1.5x my body weight! I’ve been watching these muscular women that are either taller than me or stockier. I think I found someone else to watch now! She wasn’t heavily muscled either! My 14 year old has more muscle than this person did. Gives me more hope that one day I might bench my body weight lol. And here hubby is cranking out 315# on his light days with a bum shoulder. Watching him makes me think I’ll never get there lol.
