LOL@ hebrews... same complaint here... frustrating, but I've put it down to women stress more then men (obviously not ALL men) and the chemicals stress releases tend to hoard fat cells. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! 😜 

Men lose weight faster because they have more muscle.. muscle burns calories. 

Women have to have a higher fat percentage to remain in good reproductive health. That's why even at the very leanest, 5% body fat might be realistic (for a short time, after significant sacrifice) for men but not a woman. A woman might get down to 10% BF and that's extremely lean. So the BF % women are healthy at is higher and we therefore don't lose fat as easily because nature wants us to reproduce.

That is fabulous!! What is ADF 

He most likely started much heavier than you if he lost that much. More mass burns more calories even at rest. Too see how much better he did, you'd have to go by percentage of weight lost.

@marianne ADF is alternate day fasting. U cycle between eating and fasting, basically u eat what u want for one day then you don't eat the next day.

Evolutionarily speaking, women are designed to feed growing embryos, so we're built (physiologically, endocrinologically, etc) to hang on to fat more than our male counterparts. We also, on average, have lower muscle mass compared to a man of similar size, which means we have lower metabolically active tissue, so we have to work a little harder at shedding the pounds. =) Take pride in it though!
